Angela Patel

Founder, MD and Global Operations Director

Angela Patel NCSP is an executive leader, an entrepreneur, a non executive director and mother. She is a global operations director, an expert in IT, digitalisation, HR, Risk, Compliance, Regulation and strategic organisational transformation, with a particular focus on Cyber and Financial Services. She serves as Global Operations Director of Cybersecurity Professionals ltd, an organisation which enables opportunity for education and inspiration for the current and future generation of cybersecurity professionals worldwide. With over twenty seven years experience in the City, she is a PRINCE 2 Practitioner and a qualified NIST Cyber Security Professional (NCSP).

Angela has delivered over 50 programmes of cross functional change of up to £14.5bn, overseeing large budgets and teams of up to 70 people, of global financial transformation within controlled regulatory and compliance environments. She has extensive regulatory knowledge with a proven track record in MIFID, EMIR, Basel III, GDPR, SOX and ESMA compliance within PRA, FCA, ESMA, SEC, FINRA, HKMA, PIPA, MAS frameworks.

She has served as a school governor in the London Borough of Redbridge, where she helped lift a school out of special measures. Having been a non executive director with Hornbeam Academy Trust, a multi-academy, specialy needs trust, Angela currently serves as a non executive director with Age UK. She operates a Fiscal Policy and Macroeconomics Mentoring Service as well.
